Sven Longshanks and Dr Matthew Raphael Johnson look at Russia’s response to being sanctioned by the West.

Profits from Russian companies are now only to be paid in Rubles and can only be spent on things like paying taxes.

Germany has lost 3% of its export business, while the Ruble has risen to its strongest position in 2 years.

Private individuals are to be sanctioned and the EU are hoping to replace the 40% of their gas they get from Russia, with imports from Africa.

Hungary has refused to go along with the masochism and have said they will continue to buy gas from wherever is cheapest.
