Sven Longshanks and Dr Matthew Raphael Johnson look at western attempts to limit Russia’s oil sales.

The conflict in Ukraine has seen the world split into two camps, one supporting the west and the other the east.

It looks like the predicted hegemony of a liberal world order, will now only apply in the west.

As a last ditch attempt to weaken the Russian allies, America will be putting a cap on oil prices.
