The Daily Nationalist: Police Scrap Hate Crime Course – DN 081022

Sven Longshanks looks at the scrapping of a hate crime awareness course.

After a veteran was arrested last week for posting a meme critical of homosexual authoritarianism, he was offered the chance to confess his heresy and go on a re-education course to change his thinking.

He rejected this blackmail, not having committed a crime and after being arrested, attention was drawn to the illegality of his arrest and the lack of hostility to his post.

The end result of this is that the course has now been scrapped and the Hampshire Police and Crime Commissioner has spoken out against the arrest.
