Sven Longshanks looks at what is responsible for Sweden’s unprecedented change in electoral outcome.
The Sweden Democrats are now Sweden’s second largest party, winning 73 seats, but the Moderates with just 68 seats were the party asked to form a ruling coalition.
Sweden has had a left leaning coalition for one hundred years and this is the first time the right wing has topped the polls.
The reason for this is most likely the huge increase in violent crime that the country has seen since opening up its borders to the third world.
Even the Somalis are saying that Somalia is now a safer place to be than Sweden.
