Sven Longshanks looks at Netflix causing an international incident by pretending Cleopatra was Black in a new TV docudrama.

After doing this to multiple European historical characters, Netflix are now experiencing a huge backlash after trying the same with Cleopatra.

The Egyptian government have got involved, accusing Netflix of ‘a falsification of Egyptian history and a blatant historical misconception’

They have provided contemporary representations of the queen as evidence to prove that she was of Macedonian ancestry, with 'hellenic (greek) features, in terms of light complexion, drawn nose and fluffy lips’
